The ultimate Indoor LEGO® Playground With more than four million LEGO® bricks, the LEGOLAND® Discovery Centre Oberhausen is the ultimate indoor LEGO® playground for families with children. Two exciting rides, various themed play areas and a unique 4D cinema are waiting to be explored by LEGO® fans of all ages. In the colorful world of LEGO® bricks, there are no limits to creativity and imagination. At the LEGO® factory, enthusiastic LEGO® friends can produce their own real LEGO® Duplo ™ brick and take it home as a souvenir. The MINILAND offers the miniature versions of the most famous buildings from the Ruhr area and Rhineland. You can even marvel at the Cologne Cathedral, built from over 272,000 stones by our expert model builder. Visitors can also take part in our daily model building workshops and get great tips and tricks from real professional model builders in order to be able to build even tricky models themselves. Perfect for all ages, young or old. Two exciting rides are waiting to be discovered: In the "Kingdom Quest", brave adventurers join the royal army. Your aim is to save the pretty princess in a thrilling laser battle against evil skeletons and giant trolls! Points can be collected with the laser by aiming at the evil opponents. Then reach the skies inside the magical carousel "Merlin's Apprentice": The faster you pedal, the higher you fly round after round. Whoever conquers gravity has taken the first step to become Merlin's best wizard apprentice. Another absolute highlight for all senses is the LEGO® Studios 4D cinema. Here, children and adults sit side by side in a cinema where it rains, storms and even snows during the shows. Children must be accompanied by an adult (18+). Adults are only admitted when accompanied by at least one child.
